Q. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY CARPET CLEANED?
A. The carpet manufacturers are requiring that carpet be cleaned at least every 18 months, if there are 2 adults in the home, to maintain your warranty. They encourage more frequent cleanings if there are pets or children in the home. They also require using an IICRC Certified Firm, like The Spot Man, or your warranty could be voided.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I DO BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL CLEANINGS?
A. The most important thing you can do is vacuum your carpet. Halls, family rooms and entry areas should be vacuumed daily. Bedrooms, living rooms and less used rooms should be vacuumed weekly. Placing walk-off mats at entrances helps keep the soil outside. Remove spills as soon as they occur. This will keep them from becoming stains.

Q. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY UPHOLSTERY CLEANED?
A. Upholstery should be cleaned every 12-18 months as part of regular maintenance. Upholstery should be vacuumed just like carpet to keep air born soil from becoming embedded in the fabric.

A. The Spot Man has the best guarantee in the business. If YOU are not happy, don’t pay us. We would like the opportunity to do it again but YOU determine if YOU are happy, not us. When we come out to review the areas to be cleaned we discuss with you any areas of concern and what results we can be anticipated.

Q. HOW LONG WILL IT BE WET, LAST TIME TOOK 2 DAYS TO DRY?
A. Typical drying times for our process are 3-4 hours and 7-8 hours with reapplication of 3M Scotchgard. Our practice of moving slowly gives you the best removal of soil and residues from your carpet and quick dry times.
